Shirei David - שירי דוד

This beautiful piyut is taken from Bakashot Parashat Shemot. It's just so nice to sing with people around, each person taking a stanza. A must learn for Moroccan Jews. The maqam is Istahlal.

This version of Agadelcha (see index for traditional version) is sang in Spanish Moroccan synagogues prior to the Korbanot of Shaharit, after the "siman." The maqam is Istahalal.

It's been a while since the last post so I'm glad to post one of my favourite songs to sing. This goes beautifully with Kadish or Rau Banim. The maqam is Istahalal.
