Koudam El Maya - קודאם אל מאיא

Arguably the most popular Moroccan Andalusian song to date. It's a guarantee that if you can sing this song you'll have the whole room clapping and dancing to your liking. The song builds as gets faster as it goes.
The first stanza "Kumi Yehidati" can be sang to Kedusha or Kadish really nicely. You can even follow the second part of the Kadish with the remaining melodies of this piyut. The climax of this son is the nay-na-nay in the middle which its melody is often used to sing "VaAni Tefilati" during Minha of Shabbat. What can I say? I love this song.

Az Yashir Moshe, Birkat HaLevana and more...

Hi everyone, I recently recorded a new Az Yashir Moshe in maqam "mzmoum" - often sang on Shabbat Teruma but I like singing it throughout the year. Also, I recorded Birkat HaLevana sung in Moroccan Tehilim Melody. Lastly, given that it's Rosh Hodesh this week, I finally recorded the traditional "Barechi Nafshi" that is said prior to Arvit and at the end of Shaharit. See below.

Traditional Kadish - Friday Night and Shabbat morning

Hi everyone, I received a request to record the traditional Kadish for both Friday Night and Shabbat Morning. It was often the custom in Spanish Morocco to recite the Kadish in these tunes most weeks. They are here below. Also, Tehilim continues to be updated on its respective page.  Friday Night Kadish Shabbat Morning Kadish

Selihot Lema'ancha Elohai - סליחות למענך אלהי

This song is recited every morning during Selihot, in addition to Shaharit of Yom Kippur. The tune is practically the same among all Sepharadim.
